One of the first deliverables in the project is an inventory of resources related to engaging new Canadians as volunteers with the goal to increase awareness and understanding of resources available to support ethno-cultural volunteers in Ontario. The new OVCN Inventory of Resources Related to Engaging New Canadians as Volunteers contains over 130 resources on the topic of engaging New Canadians as volunteers (including 13 resources chosen as the most useful, practical and reader-friendly and recommended as a starting point for delving into the topic).
