The Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement – Update

What we’ve done…

  1. More than 100 people have taken part in in-person CCVI training sessions across the province. Sessions have taken place in London, Guelph, Cambridge, Toronto and St. Catharines, with more to come!
  2. Volunteer Canada recently trained a new group of trainers on the CCVI.
  3. The OVCN Online Learning Space launched the online CCVI training, with hundreds of users taking advantage of this exciting free training opportunity.

Where we’re at…

  1. Subsidy applications will only be accepted up until March 15th, or sooner if all are claimed. This is your last chance to take advantage of this FREE training opportunity, so don’t wait, apply now! http://bit.ly/freeccvi
  2. We are still processing applications, so if you have applied and are awaiting info, we appreciate your patience. If you selected online training, you will receive an email from OVCN containing your OVCN Online Learning Space logins within a few weeks. If you selected in-person training, you will hear from your local volunteer centre about upcoming training sessions, if any.
  3. In-person training sessions have been planned throughout the province. Trainings will be taking place in Kitchener, Brampton, Toronto, Peterborough, Kingston, Brantford and Manitoulin Island! Finalized dates will be coming soon.

If you have any questions about the CCVI training or your subsidy application, please email admin@ovcn.ca.
